How Overtime is Calculated

  • Hourly Rate = Monthly Salary ÷ 208 (based on 26 working days × 8 hours/day)
  • Overtime Pay = Hourly Rate × Overtime Rate × Number of Overtime Hours
  • Rest Day / Holiday Overtime = Hourly Rate × Holiday/Rest Day Rate × Number of Hours
  • Night Shift Differential = Hourly Rate × Night Differential Rate × Hours Worked at Night
